Fiction

Since 1993, the Fiction Writers Group has been meeting on a monthly basis. Members meet to critique short stories, novel excerpts and other writings. Three fiction anthologies have resulted from these sessions: Work in Progress, 1995, Point of Departure, 1997, and Rites of Passage, 1999.

The Memoir Writers Group discusses the art of memoir writing to capture true life events using techniques taken from the book Your Life As Story by Tristine Rainer. Please note that Memoir Writers Group meetings take place in the Mills Room of the St. Catharines Library prior to our regular branch meetings on the first Wednesday of each month.
